Introduction to Blogging for Journalism students – using Blogger

The presentation was done for second year Journalism students at Monash University in South Africa. The course is named: AZA2787 – Journalism: An online perspective.
The issue of privacy is a huge prerequisite as students are not allowed to have public blogs while practising their blogging skills as part of their training.
Some of the social media share buttons are not activated when the blog is private. That hampers in acquiring their social media skills and networking effectively, but the consensus remains that they should know where and how to activate the social media features on their blogs when they make it public.
